Who exactly is Austin Lawrence?
Back in 1997 when I’d just turned 19 I was undoubtedly in the worst possible shape of my life. Just like every other person in their late teens I’d go out most weekends drinking and eating the wrong foods.
I’d always been sporty at school, but when I left to get a job my health suffered. I was in a job I hated, my stress levels were through the roof, I had IBS and my energy levels were lower than a snakes bottom ; )
In less than a year I’d gained over 20lbs of unhealthy body fat and was at my heaviest body weight ever. I was skinny-fat; skinny arms and legs but a big gut and butt, really not a great look.
I remember standing on the scales at my all time heaviest and deciding there and then to do something about it. I joined a gym and lost the weight in 3 months. After losing the weight I quit my job and went back to college full time to study Sports Science.
2 years later I graduated from college with a diploma in Sports Science and passed with distinction.
Several months later I yet again quit full time employment to study full time at Oxford University Sports Centre for a diploma in Personal Training and Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation with Premier International.
Shortly after graduating I started working at Oxford City Football Club where I spent 4 seasons as a sports therapist, assisting the first team Physio.
The clubs Physio was also a Chiropractor and with his mentoring in 2003 I enrolled on a 5 year Chiropractic degree at The McTimoney College of Chiropractic, which I finished in February 2008.
Since finishing my Chiropractic degree of qualified as a Kinetic Chain Assessment Specialist and Integrated Performace Coach.
With my unique blend of acedmic and practical experience I have a replicable system for getting my clients results every single time – Guaranteed!
